Watercolor is appreciated by many artists because it allows to delegate certain painting steps to the involved materials (water, paint, paper … ). The best example is wet in wet painting where color zones diffuse into each other. This is risky however since you have not complete control over it. But if you are successful, it is very satisfying.
In 2018 I developed a watercolor painting process which results in a similar way to painting self-organigation on paper – attractive structures developed. As a result this process is now occasionally part of my newest watercolor technique. The outcome is shown on this page.
